The (nearly) complete release of Primrose and what comes next

After four years in development, I hope it was worth the wait.

Today, the full release of Primrose is available to the public for free - Inside you'll find over 170 pages of rules with illustrations by Alisha Giroux (https://twitter.com/asmeesh). Here, you'll find everything you need to both play and run Primrose; Including rules for travelling the world, cooking delicious meals, shaping tools from local materials, healing the sick, and concocting devious poisons.

While this is a full release of the rules, things are still going to be removed, modified, and added over the next few months (namely proofreading, number tweaking).

So what's next?

Everything you see in the book is considered core to the experience of Primrose. But many other niche rules and subsystems have been already developed. However, these still to be looked over and picked apart before they're available for everyone they just won't be released exclusively on their own.

Each new ruleset/subsystem will be included in a short booklet (15-25 pages) that goes over the finer details of each species - adding lore, Perks, Faults, and a small module at the back to allow GMs to introduce players to these additions.

Currently, the tentative order of release looks something like this:

• Mouse + Creature Taming

•Moles + Community Development and Homemaking

• Squirrels + Advanced Stealth

• New Species:  Otters + Rules for travelling and exploring the Masma Marshes + Fishing

• Hares + Advanced Persuasion/Debate

• Rats + Ship faring/Naval Combat

• Weasels + Mass Combat

• New Species: Hedgehogs + Caravanning and Supply Runs

• Badgers + Beyond the Mountains
